The home of England Rugby was an impressive setting for a client day out
We said after the Triathalon & Ascot that Ibsecad were going to 'get involved' and enjoy more business events & fun days. Sticking to our word, last weekend Twickenham’s new south stand development was the setting for a fantastic corporate day out with BL Harberts Int, Sir Robert McAlpine, WSP, Second London Wall & Balfour Beatty.
The day was organised by Corinthian Sports Ltd and a perfect opportunity to discuss new works and the ever evolving BIM process within our Industry. Discussions on the day surrounded The New London Embassy Project and how the Construction industry seems to be rising out of the doom and gloom, with our order books looking far more healthy towards the end of 2013.
We are big rugby fans here at Ibsecad and we believe that the core values of rugby: team work, respect, enjoyment, discipline & sportsmanship are values we should try and adhere to in day to day business.
The match saw England, once again taking on the New Zealand All Blacks, in a blockbuster of a match following 2012’s amazing victory. Sadly England couldn’t repeat that feat again, losing 30-22 but it was a great match, in good company.
The December party season is almost upon us and I am sure there will be plenty more client/project events to report on soon.
